How We Evaluate AI Tools
Every tool page is built from structured data with a source for each factual claim. We separate facts (what a tool does, what it costs) from editorial judgement (who it is best for).
Criteria
- Output quality for the creator use case in question
- Ease of use and learning curve
- Value: what you get on free and paid plans
- Features and integrations relevant to creators
- Transparency of pricing, data use and commercial-use terms
Editorial ratings
An editorial rating (0–10) is only shown when an editor has evaluated the tool against these criteria. It is our opinion, not an aggregate of user reviews. We never publish fake user reviews or testimonials.
Testing claims
We only say a tool was tested hands-on when it actually was. Otherwise our analysis is based on official documentation and other cited sources, listed at the end of each page.
Freshness
Pricing and features change often. Prices are shown only with the date they were verified; pricing data is re-checked on a 30-day cycle and anything older is flagged as needing verification.
